Worcester, MA – It's a typical workday: wake up, eat breakfast, dress and head out the door. The mind is used to this routine, but the same can't be said for the body, or feet.

Some people are on their feet all day while others have very sedentary jobs. Although both of these require a different amount of "footwork," both can still negatively impact foot health.
Footwear is the first thing a person should check for heading out for his/her job. Shoes can be one of two things: supportive or uncomfortable.
Due to fashion choices, many people opt for uncomfortable shoes, such as high heels, flats and ill-fitted business shoes. They lack the support, comfortable fit and protection against shock. Years of wearing ill-fitted shoes can cause corns, calluses, bunions and heel pain. Too much foot strain can lead to other injuries as well.
